FAQ
We are always available to help you find what you need. Reach out anytime if you don’t see what you’re looking for on our website.
What age is best for kids to start roller skating?
Most kids can start at age 5, or when they are in kindergarten.
Do you teach all ages?
We have taught skaters from age 5 to 80! It’s never too late to learn.
What if I have never skated before?
We’ve got you! Instruction starts at the very beginning, and you can take as long as you need to get comfortable before moving on.
Do you teach on roller skates or inline skates?
Most of our instructors use roller skates, but some use inline skates. Both are welcome in our classes.
Can I take a class with my child?
Our Sunday morning skate lessons are the perfect place to start!
🛼 We run adult and kids’ groups at the same time, so everyone gets a session tailored to them. Afterwards, you can stick around for our Family Skate to practice and enjoy the rink at your own pace. These classes are drop-in based.
Another option is Tuesdays’ Kids’ Club, which also includes a parent class running during the session. For the last 15 minutes, Kids’ Club turns into an open skate—giving you a chance to join your child on the floor. These classes you must register by the month or the semester. Drop-ins not available.
Do I need my own skates and gear?
You can rent everything you need for your class.
Do you have accommodations for special needs?
Please contact us prior to the class to discuss it with our instructors.
Can I bring my group to a class or will you give a class for my group?
Please contact us with the name of your organization and the size of your group for further information.
