Classes for Every Stage
You do not need to be a beginner to join us. Adults and children learn at the same time in separate groups, with instruction suited to their age, current ability and next goals.
Adult Classes
Start from the beginning, refresh skills you have not used in years or take your skating to the next level. Adults are grouped by ability so you can work on the skills that are right for you.
Perfect for absolute beginners and skaters who want more confidence with forward skating, stopping, turning, edging and overall control.
For skaters who are comfortable moving forward and ready to work on backwards skating, transitions, crossovers, advanced stops, edges, pivots and more.
Kids' Classes
Our kids' classes help young skaters feel safe and successful on wheels while developing balance, coordination and confidence.
Children are guided according to their experience, from learning how to stand, fall safely and roll forward to developing stronger stopping, turning and skating control.
Skills are introduced through age-appropriate instruction and practice, allowing each child to build a strong foundation at their own pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these classes only for beginners?
No. Adult classes include Level 1 for foundations and Level 2 for skaters ready to work on more advanced skills. Kids receive instruction suited to their current ability.
What if I have never skated before?
You are in the right place. We begin with the fundamentals and give you time to become comfortable before progressing to new skills.
Can I take a class at the same time as my child?
Yes. Adult and kids' groups run at the same time in separate areas, so each group receives instruction suited to them.
Can I use roller skates or inline skates?
Both are welcome. Most instructors teach in quad roller skates, and the core balance, stopping and control skills can be taught on either style.
Do I have to wear safety gear?
Yes. A helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads are mandatory during class for your safety while learning and trying new skills. After class, safety gear is recommended but not required during public skate sessions.
Do I need my own skates?
No. Quad skates and inline skates are available to rent, with the required safety gear included.
What age can children begin?
Our Sunday kids' classes are designed for ages 5–12. Most children are ready to begin around age five or once they are in kindergarten.
Can we stay and skate after the lesson?
Yes. Participants can stay for the same-day public skate at no additional charge.
